Meladee Killpack

Director of Nursing

Meladee began her career in healthcare at the age of 15. She worked in a small community nursing facility washing dishes. Since that time, she has pursued her passion of caring for others to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She then became a Licensed Practical Nurse and shortly after in 2007 earned her bachelors degree in Nursing at Southern Utah University.

Among her experience as a Registered Nurse, Meladee has obtained an assortment of Certifications including Wound Vac Certification, Infection Control Specialist Certification, Eden Program Certification as well as a certification for a Nurse Mentor program through Utah State University sponsored by HealthInsight.

Her many flourishing experiences include nurse leadership as Director of Nursing, Director of Staff Development and Education, Corporate Operation Officer, Director of Patient Care, Wound Care, Case Manager and Infection control. The majority of her nursing experience has been with the Geriatric population. Meladee?s philosophy has been to learn as much as she can from every experience life has to offer, she is confident that positive will come from all experiences.
