Nina Heck

Marketing Director

Admissions Director

I have worked in the Public Relations, advertising and marketing fields for over 30 years. I have made a life out of assisting others, building goodwill and motivating people to engage in their communities.

I am the type of lady who would prefer to conduct business on a hug rather than a handshake. That?s just my style. ?The most important things in life are the relationships we create,?

Residing in Southern Utah with my husband, Mike, we are the parents of seven boys and one girl (yours, mine, ours, there?s and someone else?s) and have Twenty grandchildren. Sharing my heart, I have been a foster parent for many years. One of my many talents is my proficiency in sign language and my ability to assist the hearing impaired. My dedication began with the birth of my second son, Joshua, who was born deaf.

Today you will find me continuing to give back. I recently finished 5 years on the Leadership Dixie?s board and the St. George Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the second time, I am a Dixie Sunshiner, past State President of the Utah Business Women UBW/BPW and past local president of UBW. You will also find me volunteering every year for the St. George Marathon and the Ironman. Huntsman World Senior Games where I am in charge of the parade of athletes,

Some Business and Professional accomplishments would be ranking #1 in the Nation for over 5 years in top sales for American Classifieds. In 1999 I was instrumental in putting together the Adventure 99, a consumer retail show at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. Voted Sales Person of the year for 4 years by my peers and had 4 times as many commendation letters from clients than any other sales person in the nation. In the Nov/Dec 2009 Issue of elan Woman Magazine, I was the elan Woman. In June 2010, I won Woman of the Year with BPW/UBW.

My interests include traveling, especially going on cruises, snorkeling, boating, hiking, arm wrestling which I use to do professionally, watching my husband race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, making jewelry and spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.

I own Oh My Heck Marketing, Inc. for the past 14 years. Lived in St. George for 19 years.

I am passionate about St. George and our community. I love getting involved in EVERYTHING. I love my friends and how our community comes together to help each other out. This is home.
